Weekend Service

The Weekend Service takes place on Sunday at 10AM. The service involves a time of contemporary worship, prayer and a practical teaching from Pastor Scott. Refreshments and coffee are provided in the coffee room/bookstore. Classes for children and youth are held at the same time as the adult service: Sunlight Pals (0-35 months), Kingdom Tots (3-6 years), Kids Church (7-12 years) and Sidero Youth Group (13-17 years).
We believe that The Church is a body in which every member should be valued and have a part to play. Volunteer opportunities are plentiful. Both adults and older children are encouraged to get connected in a ministry of serving on Sunday morning and throughout the week. On Family Sunday children ages seven years and older join the adults for worship, communion and the sermon.
We believe in the power of prayer. We have three designated prayer times during the course of the Weekend Service. The first is from 9:15-9:30AM and is an optional open group with the focus geared toward praying for the service itself. Later, during the service, we observe corporate prayer with a focus on personal requests submitted by the congregation or others. Finally, after the service concludes there is a time of prayer available for anyone who desires one-on-one connection with a prayer minister.
